About Stanek AV

We are a local, family-owned technology company serving the Midlands since 2014. We aren’t just cable pullers; we are technology partners for our clients. Whether it’s a high-end home theater, a smart automation system, or commercial security, our goal is simple: technology that works perfectly and is easy to use.

We pride ourselves on being down-to-earth experts who value craftsmanship and relationships over sales tactics. If you want to work for a company that treats you like a partner, invests in your growth, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

  • Lead residential and commercial projects, including pre-wiring, trim-out, and final installation of security, AV, and network systems. Run service calls to troubleshoot and repair issues.
  • Plan job workflows, manage on-site materials, and ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Act as the primary face of the company on-site. Build rapport with clients, clearly explain system functions, and represent the brand professionally.
  • Operate and maintain a fully equipped company vehicle.
  • Lead by example, maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of low voltage experience is required. Prior experience running your own truck and managing your own daily schedule is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in current technology (AV, Network, Security) with a genuine desire to learn and grow.
  • Must be able to work as a team and individually to get projects completed.
  • Must be an effective communicator and a “people-person” with the ability to interface with clients daily with precision of speech and a down-to-earth personality.
  • Must be able to consistently lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces and on ladders and lifts.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record and pass a strict background check (mandatory for our alarm licensure).
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or greater is preferred.
  • ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 1 is preferred.

Who We Aren’t Looking For

  • Someone who already knows everything.
  • Someone who is above getting their hands dirty.

Benefits

  • Generous and flexible PTO Policy, including paid major holidays.
  • Yearly continuing education opportunities to keep you current with industry standards.
  • Opportunities for advancement within the company.
  • Quarterly incentives and bonus structures that reward active participation and company growth.
